Alway Training Taster Day was held in April 2006 at Alway Community Centre. It was attended by a number of service providers who were able to engage with people on a formal or informal basis offering, Welsh, Sign Language, IT Horticulture, Arts & Crafts, Cookery, Digital Storytelling and Beauty Therapy. The day was attended by 62 people who specified their training needs and which has been formulated into a training plan for Alway. As a result a number of training courses have now been arranged within the community. It is hoped that another similar event will be held in May to celebrate Adult Learners Week. The following table includes opportunities Coordinated by Alway Community Association as well as other agencies.
